So much love went into this super sweet bridal shower for Emily and Kelly. We were thrilled to be able to provide floral designs, props and styling for this travel-themed party. We love a good party theme and this one was executed so creatively and beautifully by the gracious hosts. They incorporated lots of pretty little travel-inspired details--all the way down to authentic packets of airplane peanuts.
Supplied with lots of little suitcases, we packed them full of seasonal blooms, including some of the last peonies, first dahlias, bells of ireland, lilies, zinnias, baptisia and more.
Among the many special touches incorporated into the celebration: Invitations designed to look like boarding passes reflecting the couple's recent move from Boston to Pittsburgh, plus paper airplanes and other decor made from old maps, a marriage "passport" for guests to impart travel advice, cake pops shaped like globes, plus favorite foods and cuisine from around the world.
In addition to our flowers, we also supplied and styled props, including vintage globes, maps, suitcases, binoculars and other travel-themed accessories.
We had so much fun pulling this all together! Best wishes Emily and Kelly!
